Q + A

What to expect!

Nothing too fancy, just love. You know we love our live music, we are thrilled to have THREE different groups performing through the evening- music festival style. The musicians are: St. Joe Jack, Joe Hertler, and Act Casual. We are so excited to share our love of music with you and dance the night away.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our venue is primarily outdoors. While there are indoor and covered areas, please ensure you wear appropriate footwear. It may be cold once the sun goes down, we will provide some heat sources but please bring a jacket if you feel the need to!

When should we RSVP by?

Out of respect for our vendors, kindly RSVP by September 19th of 2026. Please notify Julia if you have already RSVP’d “yes” but are now unable to attend.

What is the dress code?

We are kindly requesting that our guests wear dressy casual/garden party attire. For men, this can include collared shirts and nice slacks or khakis. For women, this can include sun dresses, or jumpsuits. We encourage you to express your creativity and eccentricity! Our wedding is music festival themed so feel free to get funky and have fun with it, if that's your style! Here is a link to a Pinterest board for inspiration: https://pin.it/3E6H0Knfl

Does the venue have parking?

Yes, our venue has parking! For those of you who are staying at the Doubletree by Hilton downtown Battle Creek, there will be a shuttle bus to take you to and from the venue at no cost.

Can I bring my children?

We have decided to make this an ‘adult only’ event. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!

Do I have a plus one?

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate extra guests beyond those named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes! At the Doubletree by Hilton downtown Battle Creek; please see travel tab for more info. There are lots of other hotels in Battle Creek or Kalamazoo if you do not want to stay at this one- the venue falls right in the middle of the two areas.
